The beauty of the Inn is illustrated in fourteen charming rooms. Each room has been carefully decorated with faithful attention to details that include antique furniture and accessories. Enjoy beautiful brass and iron queen-size beds, with lavish comforters, pillows and linens. The Inn features two distinct types of accommodations: our Traditional and Deluxe rooms.
Traditional Rooms
The seven rooms within the historic section of the Inn are warm and inviting. Restored with character, these rooms are designed for the guest who enjoys the traditional Bed and Breakfast experience. Each room has a washbasin and shares three modern baths.
For your comfort, in room heat control, central air conditioning, telephones with voicemail + data port and refreshing breezes off Lake Michigan are provided! A "community" television is located in the parlor.

Deluxe Rooms
In the Great House you will find six larger contemporary, yet traditionally decorated rooms including our enchanting Treetop Room. This spacious room with cathedral ceiling, perfect for romantic getaways, is located on the third floor with a private balcony.a view of Lake Michigan awaits you through the tree tops! Another favorite of the Inn is our suite with an original cupola-skylight, kitchenette, separate bedroom and private bath, located in the historic section of the Inn.
All deluxe rooms have private baths, seating areas, in-room heat and air conditioning control. There are even telephones with voice mail + data ports and televisions. but feel free to unplug them if you like! Stunning views, three sun decks in all, picture windows and carefully planned privacy are a few of the special features.

Tariffs are seasonal and slightly higher on weekends. Tariffs are subject to change without notice. Add 8% for taxes. Please inquire about discounts for stays of five nights or longer.
Reservations
Please call the Inn directly at

To confirm, a deposit of one night's
lodging is required and is payable
with check or credit card (VISA,
MC). The deposit will be credited
to the last night of your stay.
50% of tariff for stays of four
nights or longer.

Please notify us if you require special arrangements. Luggage can be stored for early arrivals or late departures.
Cancellations
The Sylvan Inn is an intimate
Bed and Breakfast Inn, consequently
cancellations affect us significantly.
Cancellations made up to thirty
days prior to your scheduled arrival
for a single room, sixty days
for multiple rooms; will result
in your deposit being refunded
less a $25 processing fee per
room. If you must cancel later,
your deposit will be forfeited.
Refunds are not given for early
departures. Alterations to confirmed
reservations are subject to a
$25. processing fee.
Please Note:
The nature of our facility greatly
restricts our ability to accommodate
younger children. Smoking is not
permitted inside the building
and pets are not allowed.
